K-Bar-C Ranch has 1200 acres of prime hunting habitat, huge Monster Bucks, plentiful Turkey, and Upland Game species that include Quail, Pheasant, and Chuckar.
Our goal is to provide an exciting quality hunt for our guests. Private, affordable, relaxing, and a whole lot of fun.
Southeast Iowa offers the whitetail deer hunter the opportunity to bag the buck of a lifetime. Many of the deer cruising the property will score between 160 and 190.
Bow season, 1st and 2nd shotgun season, and late season muzzle loader; offer our guests the opportunity to hunt October through January.
All out state whitetail and turkey licenses are available for a draw only, so contact us early so we can get you or your group in next season's draw. Upland Game hunt licenses are available over the counter.
Accommodations: “Quail Ridge Cabin” is nestled in a tree grove with picturesque views of your hunting grounds. The cabin comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen, large family room with Dish Network television, 3 bedrooms with 3 attached full bathrooms, towels and linens, a large deck with grill, fire pit (with complimentary firewood), and “New” for the 2007 season we’ve added a 650 square foot room that can be used for corporate meetings, family gatherings as well as the enjoyment for all our guests. Relax after a day of great hunting, play some cards, sit next to the camp fire, read your favorite book, shoot some sporting clay targets, or just watch the deer as they feed in the fields, and relive the stories of the day at your own private outdoor adventure retreat.
